A bespoke, multi-functional garden building designed to combine architectural character with modern performance.
The Piano Rooms is a beautifully crafted, multi-functional garden building designed to combine architectural character with modern performance.
This bespoke project delivers a garage, utility room, wine room, bathroom and an elegant reception space, all constructed using a high performance timber frame system and powered by an air source heat pump.
Externally, the building complements the main property with clean rendered elevations, brick detailing and a traditional pitched roof profile. Black-framed bi-fold doors open onto the patio, creating a seamless indoor-outdoor connection.
Inside, a vaulted ceiling with exposed solid French oak trusses forms a striking focal point. Throughout the building, bespoke-made solid French oak has been used for flooring, joinery and architectural detailing, adding warmth, texture and lasting quality.
Built using a highly insulated timber frame, The Piano Rooms was designed to deliver excellent thermal efficiency and year-round comfort. An integrated air source heat pump provides energy-efficient heating and hot water, reducing both carbon impact and running costs.
High-performance glazing, airtight detailing and low-energy lighting further enhance the building’s environmental credentials.
Reception Room – A light-filled, vaulted space ideal for entertaining or relaxing.
Garage & Utility Room – Practical, well-integrated spaces finished to the same high standard.
Wine Room – Purpose-built and climate-considered for optimal storage.
Bathroom – Contemporary fittings paired with refined finishes.
If you’re planning a renovation, extension or new build, we’d be happy to talk things through.
